Koen
I’m Koen Chamberlain I’m a Neo-traditional tattoo artist with 12 years of experience, I am now a co-owner of Daggers & Daisies collective which opened in 2021. I mainly specialise in ornate Neo-traditional and Japanese tattoos, I like to accentuate clients’ body parts with my designs and create unique, detailed custom designs however big or small.
My goal for myself and Daggers & Daisies is to create tattoos that withstand a lifetime and educate my clients about the tattoo industry and the importance of picking skilled professionals that are passionate about what they do. Tattoos and designs aren’t just a job to me they are a passion. I spend my time free time painting and drawing, expanding my knowledge and improving my skills.
When I started my career in 2011 I was nominated for UK’s best newcomer, I’ve featured in magazines with my designs and had an article in Tattoo Master Magazine. I have done guest spots and conventions in the UK as well as internationally, I’ve met amazing artist and had the privilege of tattooing some and getting tattooed by them. I would definitely like to continue doing many more conventions and guest spots in the future and add to my own tattoo collection.
When I’m not creating art and tattoos I enjoy skateboarding, exploring, spending time with my wife and children and walking my ADHD dog.
If you would like to get booked in or see what I’ve been doing, it is best to follow or message me directly on Instagram or Facebook and for any of my artwork check out my shop on big cartel Koentattoos.
India
I’m India Mae, and I’ve been tattooing black and grey realism for 2 years. I co-own Daggers and Daisies collective, which Koen and I opened in April 2021. I specialise in tattooing portraits, animals and freehand floral work.
Before I began in tattooing, I specialised my craft in drawing hyper realistic portraits of celebrities portraits using a ball point pen. I’ve had the likes of Ricky Gervais, Simon Pegg and David Attenborough recognise my work, and have received a hand written letter from Sir David Attenborough crediting my portrait.
In the future I see myself doing guest spots, conventions and incorporating my drawing style into my tattooing style.
Tattooing, drawing and painting are my passion and I spend most of my time creating new art. When I’m not in the studio you’ll find me either abroad, or at a festival.
If you are interested in enquiring about a tattoo, drawing or print please don’t hesitate to follow and message me on Instagram.
